Charlie Goodwin has a background in funds management and marketing. Prior to joining Mainland, he was Head of Investments and Marketing at Perpetual Trust, involved in launching and overseeing the management of a range of funds and superannuation schemes investing in property, mortgages, fixed income products and equities.

He has also worked for stockbrokers JBWere and for the Anglican Church Property Trustees.

His role at Mainland centres around his expertise in the design, documentation and management of funds and in property projects including affordable housing and industrial property.

Charlie holds a Bachelor of Commerce in economics and marketing from Lincoln College Canterbury and a New Zealand Stock Exchange Diploma and is a Certified Finance and Investment Professional with the Institute of Finance Professionals New Zealand (INFINZ)
